The Protestant University of Central Africa officially launched its new Master’s programme in Diakonia, Community Development and Social Innovation with an opening ceremony marked by gratitude, diversity, and hope for the future.
Out of the ten students admitted to the programme, seven students were present at the ceremony. The cohort reflects a balanced and encouraging dynamic, with two female and five male students actively beginning this academic journey. Notably, the programme already shows its international dimension, as one of the students comes from Benin, enriching the learning community with cross-cultural experience and perspectives.
This opening ceremony represents more than a formal academic event. It is the concrete start of a programme designed to equip leaders for diaconal service, community transformation, and innovative social engagement, grounded in Protestant theological values and practical action. The presence of motivated students from different backgrounds underlines the relevance and regional impact of this Master’s programme.
To God be the glory for this meaningful beginning. As this new academic path unfolds, the Master’s programme in Diakonia, Social Innovation and Community Development stands as a strong commitment to serving communities, strengthening social responsibility, and fostering innovation for the common good.
